Rugby Student Athlete,

 

My name is Jeff Hickman, aka ”Bluey,” and I am the Head Coach of the UW-Stout Mens Rugby Program. I have recently completed my second year in this position and look forward to many years of growth and prosperity with the Blue Devils.

 

The UW-Stout Rugby Program is a club sport that in recent years has experienced great success on the field. This years team finished second at the Midwest Collegiate Division 2 Final 4, and with this finish marks the Blue Devils 5th Midwest Final 4 appearance out of the last 6 years. This would not be possible with out the dedication of present and past team members and with out the steady stream of players from the regional high school rugby programs.

 

The Blue Devils Rugby Program for 2007 have set new goals, and to obtain these goals we are looking for disciplined and team-oriented student-athletes. If you are interested in structure, work, pride and the team concept—then UW Stout may be the rugby program for you. Below is a link to a brochure describing the rugby program in more detail.
